Moved to the NYC area in February (not in the city but about a 40 minute train ride out), and I’d love to make some new friends outside of work. Also trying to build my confidence navigating the city without looking completely lost.
I’m from the West Coast and still not totally used to the cold, but I’m making it work. I’m always down to grab coffee, a glass of wine, try new food spots, or just wander and explore. If you want someone to shop with or hype you up (or gently tell you something isn’t it), I’m your girl. I’d also love a “work together” buddy for coffee shops or libraries.
I really just enjoy good company, whether we’re out doing something or just hanging out.
Big fan of a movie + dinner hang (as friends or otherwise). Horror and comedy is my favorite, but I’m open to anything. Also equally happy with a cozy night in, watching something and ordering takeout or cooking.
Things I’m proud of: hitting 10k steps, trying new hobbies (cooking, painting, etc.), and making people around me happy.
I’ve been described as “a little basic” (which I fully embrace). Mom says I’m chubby, since I’m a big fan of good food, and still committed to getting my 10k steps in.
I’m down to try pretty much anything (I’ll usually say yes), but realistically I still like to be in bed by 1am.
Also into casual sports a park volleyball game and would love to get into pickleball or badminton so if you need an extra person, let me know.
