The plain facts: I'm 6'1" and 190 lbs. I have a shaved head and a short beard. Eastern European mutt background if that matters to you. I'm single without any drama, never had (or wanted) kids, and I have two self-employed type jobs that allow for free time. I live in downtown Toronto, not Hamilton, but I figured I might as well post here because Hamilton is the shit and I like going there.
What I'm looking for: dating toward a monogamous relationship, though I'm not allergic to fooling around. I'm only into bigger women. You don't have to be twice my size, but if you were, that would be the opposite of a problem.
What I'm into: I write scary stories, make dark ambient music, fix old computers, cook really good for a filthy casual, and drink black coffee like I'm trying to cope with something. I collect old books, audiocassettes, synths, and intangible infohazards. My favorite pen is a Staedtler FineLiner, and my biggest heroes are Townes Van Zandt and H.P. Lovecraft. I'm extremely ambitious in creative terms, not so much in material ones.
What my life is like: I've been a city mouse my whole adult life but I have friends all across the country, including way out in the forest. I keep on thinking I should go somewhere else before I get too fossilized, but true love would sure be a good reason to stay in Ontario. I'm always walking. I make excuses to do errands in far-flung neighbourhoods so I can get a walk in or play some music in the park. I go to a lot of shows. Sometimes I'll bear down and work 100 hours in a week, sometimes I'll put on the same album for a week straight and write a crazy story. I drink with my friends occasionally and I'm fine with weed smoke though it usually gives me the fear brain if I inhale. I quit cigs about three and a half years back but I don't mind if you smoke those either.
Who I'm looking for: I'm hoping that you're laid-back, kind, inquisitive, and appreciate nuance. I like creative types a lot. If drawing, writing or playing music are among your lifelines, I'm genuinely interested, especially if you like collaborating or talking shop. I'm a sucker for a good voice, and it's pretty much mandatory that you read. I've always been a subculture kind of person (diy/metal/folk kind of stuff) but it's totally okay if you're not alt, so long as you're weird.
Who I'm not looking for: no single moms, please. I've been through a lot and I want to be mutual emotional priorities with someone. From where I'm standing, that feels incompatible with a partner who's already started a family, and I can't possibly emphasize enough that I never want to have kids. No aggressive people and no culture warriors, double and triple please. People's character traits are much more important to me than their object-level beliefs; as long as you've thought things out to some degree, I respect you. Nobody who's not fat, please. I wish I was physically attracted to all body types but I'm only feeling it when a babe has a whole lot of squish.
What my deal is: I'm lonely and I want to rub your butt and read to you in bed.
