Response time… Really?
I’m currently looking around on SA and have had a couple… interesting responses to my response time.
One of the POTs I was talking to off-site saw me active on the site and hadn’t responded to his message that he sent maybe an hour ago and decided to cut me off. We’ve been in contact for around less than 24h. I’m a little surprised by this. SDs, is this an immediate turn off for you guys? Does it genuinely give off disinterest? SBs, am I in the wrong?
I have a life. 😗 There have been numerous people assuming that I’ve ghosted them if I haven’t responded in 12 hours. Right now I’m balancing my own stuff but connecting with my messages once in the morning and then sparingly throughout the day when I have time (Usually only responding to a couple at a time as to not have my messages open in public for elongated periods). However, at night I’ll get multiple messages asking if I’ve vanished or if I’ve ghosted them. I haven’t left anyone on delivered for over 24h.
Am I overreacting? I’m a liiiiiittle bit lost here…
