32 [M4F] #Brookline - Looking for Someone Thoughtful

I’m a pretty quiet person at first, but very talkative once I’m comfortable. I tend to connect best with people who are thoughtful, emotionally open, a little shy themselves, and enjoy deep topics more than small talk.

Most of my free time is spent taking long walks around the city, going to bookstores and coffee shops, writing, reading, board games, and occasionally forcing myself to go to meetups and be social. I miss having someone to share small moments and conversations with, and sweet messages to make work and capitalism more bearable.

I’m very left-leaning, affectionate, and relationship-oriented. I value honesty, humor, and people who stay kind even after life has given them reasons not to be.

I used to live in Korea, and that experience really shaped me. I miss the feeling of cultural exchange, learning how other people see the world, and the closeness that can come from sharing language, food, traditions, and different perspectives. I tend to connect naturally with people who have an international or multicultural background and who enjoy introducing others to the things they love. I think homemade tteopokki is the key to my heart.

Personality-wise, I usually gravitate toward people who seem reserved at first but become very expressive and playful once they trust someone. I’m the same way. Once I care about someone, I like closeness, quality time, physical affection, dumb memes, inside jokes, and spending more time together rather than less.

Ultimately looking for something real, monogamous, and long-term. I’m also firmly child-free, so ideally we’d align there too.

Fun facts: I've been told I have an "accent from nowhere," both abroad in East Asia as well as here in the states. I also tend to love reading surreal fiction, short stories, and I recently loved "Flowers of Mold" by Ha Seong-nan.

Also: 6’2”, green eyes, brown hair, thin/muscular build.

Feel free to send a message if this resonates!

I think homemade tteopokki is the key to my heart. I am better at baking than cooking, so it's relatively easy to impress me.

Fun facts: I've been told I have an "accent from nowhere." I've published a few papers and I'm getting back into writing very slowly after some burnout. I also tend to love reading surreal fiction, short stories, and I recently loved "Flowers of Mold" by Ha Seong-nan.

32 [M4F] #Brookline - Looking for Something Genuine and Kind

I’m a pretty quiet person at first, but very talkative once I’m comfortable. I tend to connect best with people who are thoughtful, emotionally open, a little shy themselves, and capable of talking for hours once the walls come down.

Most of my free time is pretty low-key: long walks around the city, bookstores, coffee shops, writing, reading, board games, wandering different neighborhoods, or occasionally forcing myself to go to meetups and be social. I miss having someone to share small moments and conversations with more than anything overly exciting.

I’m very left-leaning, affectionate, and relationship-oriented. I value honesty, warmth, humor, curiosity, and people who stay kind even after life has given them reasons not to be. I appreciate vulnerability and direct communication a lot, especially because modern dating can feel strangely disposable at times.

Bonus points if you have strong opinions about food or can recommend hidden restaurants around Boston.

I write fairly regularly and used to work in academia, which probably explains why I can turn a casual conversation into a two-hour discussion about culture, ethics, psychology, or why certain cafés don't feel pleasant to relax in.

Personality-wise, I usually gravitate toward people who seem reserved at first but become very expressive and playful once they trust someone. I’m the same way. Also: 6’2”, green eyes, brown hair, thin/muscular build, and yes, I will absolutely judge a café by how comfortable its seating is.
