How to respond to guys who “don’t want it all to be about money”?
Lately I keep having these interactions, usually with a guy who I have been talking to for over an hour and have gotten dances from me. They start talking about liking me a lot and wishing we could do something outside of the club. I just tell them that I don’t do anything outside the club, I like it and it’s safe here, and remind them that I have to pay my bills so it has to be about the money while adding bits about still really enjoying my time with them and liking hanging out. This usually ends our interaction though, and they’re no longer interested in dances or really chatting. Do I just need to accept that this is where me making money off of them ends? Is there a trick to responding to this kind of thing that gets them to keep spending while also holding that boundary? I feel like it’s probably the former.
