hello! first post here, thought some of you could help. i’m working on worldbuilding for a project whose premise is: basically an alternate reality where everything is the same except nudity is highly normalized. there are, of course, some added fantasy and fiction elements, but the idea is to keep most of human history as intact as possible. in my view, the key difference between real life and my world is that irl religion has historically punished nudity. this brings me to my question: how would religion affect my premise? i have had three thoughts:

1. eliminate all religions from history. this is obviously not great as it would fundamentally alter the course of human history and force me to come up with lots of explanations for things that are currently explained by religious differences, but is the quickest fix.

2. religions exist as normal, but throughout history have had no issues (or less issues) with nudity: most of everything develops the same, except for some reason abrahamic religions never associate the naked body with immorality. this still creates some questions that would have to be answered, but it’s more manageable.

3. a sudden change in the present: everything is the same until some undefined turning point, where society collectively decides associating the naked body with morality is unnecessary. religious institutions lose power against some kind of sexual revolution that advocates for the right to be naked. what’s hard here is defining how and why people would support this idea.

would love to hear your thoughts. have any of you written about something similar? what is the most logical choice, in your opinion? what is your favorite, even if it’s not the most logical? do you have any other ideas? i’m looking forward to reading your comments.

i (24m) can’t stop thinking about porn and sex. even while i’m doing other things, my mind always wanders back to porn. if i’m doing a task, i get myself through it by thinking i’ll be rewarded with porn when i finish. i love touching my dick all the time. i thought it would go away eventually but it hasn’t, and i’ve been like this for a while. has anyone else experienced this?

hello! i’ve been wanting to try nudism for a while now and i’m finally having my first experience at an event next week! (not really a nudist event, but nudity is allowed, and that’s the best i could find in my city). since it would be my first time doing anything like this in public, i have a lot of questions and insecurities. do any of you have any advice or tips for a first timer? any kind of insight would be appreciated :)

i’m 23 and have been interested in nudism for a long time. this year i started embracing it more and hanging out nude when i was home alone in the summer, and also in front of my boyfriend sometimes. there aren’t many nudity positive places in my city except for a couple of nightclubs. i also feel like body image blocks me a bit. i’m “skinny fat” and sometimes feel like my body doesn’t look good enough to be seen by others. has anyone been in a similar situation? what steps did you take to get over it and fully embrace nudism?
