[M4F] - Long term Family RP, Slice of Life, Dad / Daughter RP - please read the body of this post.
The Roleplay:
A long term, father, daughter(s) relationship. Starts out slowly, a true slice of life roleplay where neither of the parties know where it’s going and how things will end up. Each day is a new chapter in their lives. Exploring each other’s thought, desires and processing what their small world has become.
Me (Shane Kennedy):
A 47 year old single dad with a dad bod, a salt and pepper beard and a drinking problem. He was once a successful horror writer, many of his books hitting the top 10 must reads over the years, many having been adapted into movies with him doing the adaptation of his own novels.
Six years ago, he lost his wife, your mother, in a horrific car crash, leaving him in a state of depression, alcoholism, and writers block. Nowadays he is trying to break the habit of waking up and drinking and smoking a pack or more a day. Slowly but surely he is winning the battle, taking two steps forward, but 10 steps back.
My style of writing:
*his eyes slowly open as the morning sun peeks in through the torn curtain, barely covering the bedroom window.* Fuck. *he moans as he stretches, his joints cracking, his muscles stretching. He sits up in bed, adjusts his morning wood before taking the last swig from the bottle of shitty bourbon he has grown accustomed to drinking.*
You:
The daughter. I would love to hear what type of backstory you come up with for her. Where she has been and where she is going. How she may or may not be obsessed with the man she once knew and how she is navigating the man now in front of her - his lingering stares, his questionable comments, his drinking.
