[B4T] The Healing Mage and Stranger; A Slice of Life Romance
Welcome to costal settlement of Arland. This village is known for its shipping and ferry services which bring in plenty of business, legitimate or otherwise, to its more remote reaches. Its location makes it a perfect first stop destination for mercenaries and bounty hunters looking to make a name for themselves. Unfortunately, due to Arland’s remoteness it’s also known to filter out these foolish, first time adventurers. Surrounding the settlement is an immense forest which creates quite the barrier between Arland and the rest of the continent.
Asher, my character, has settled on the outskirts of Arland that border uncharted forests. He’s a human mage hauling from a northern land, making him just as much a newcomer as anyone else. Countless adventures pass his humble cabin by on their way into the mainland only to find themselves lost or worse.
Your character is an explorer, a bounty hunter, or an adventurer who came to Arland for unknown reasons. Whether you’re chasing a bounty or looking to make a name for yourself in a new place you’ve found yourself on Arland. Unfortunately for you, the immense forest proves to be a slight challenge. A typhoon lands on the coast just as you decide to set out on your mission. While on the forests edge you’re caught in the storm and black out from injury or otherwise.
During the storm you appear to make it far enough that you land neatly near Asher’s secluded cabin. Once saved Asher makes it his duty to nurse you back to health. Change your clothes, keep you company, use his magic over many days/weeks to bring you back to your best.
During this time our characters talk and get to know one another. Asher escapes his usual self seclusion and opens up a bit while getting to know this mysterious new stranger. Perhaps Asher himself is the target of a bounty, or perhaps he opts to help you on your journey across the lands. It’s possible you might even decide to settle in Arland as Asher had done. A grand future awaits the two as this story plays out.

This a very broad RP idea but I thought the idea of a fluff/smut story between two characters forced to know one another was a fun one. We can come together and world build what we want in our world and go from there. Maybe our characters slowly fall in love, maybe Asher helps YC in their journey after giving time to heal and support; anything is possible!

Asher was born to the far north at a mages college his family once lead. However, a rival mage faction made their way up into the tundra and destroyed it, leaving many, including Asher, alone and left to face the world with no one else.
Personality wise Asher is shy and reserved but very confident in his magical abilities. He was a humble prodigy during his time in university and has kept up his skills ever since. Arland drew his attention for its location, being both secluded but not wholly remote. Its proximity grants him access to updated magical texts, potion ingredients, and more without him having to settle in a large city.
Asher is very slim, some might mistake it for being underweight. In reality he’s just naturally thin being a powerful mage. He enjoys trying new foods all across the world and engaging with culture whenever he can, so much so that despite his reclusive nature he will spark conversation if he suspects there’s something to learn. While not a bar goer he’s been known to walk the streets of Arland in search of new perspectives to learn and grow with.
Sexually speaking he has little to no experience. His nature lends to a shyness he can’t shake when it comes to romance or sexuality. Hardly anyone has shown an interest in him since he’s arrived in Arland and in turn he finds it nearly impossible for someone like him in such a way.

As for your character you can play anyone or anything. An anthro character, an orc, elf, whatever fantasy race you can think of feel free to play them! If you’ve read this far, include the word Strawberry in your message to me!
