Intro!
Hiii! So I can't give too much away about me because this is a throwaway but I'm a forever GM who is back to looking around due to a lot of things starting and stopping leading to some space.
Recently one of the biggest NSFW Tabletop subreddits has made it hard to request new NSFW games. I've been looking (and not to kink shame) but nothing interests me. I'm not a fan of bad end dungeon crawlers where orc rapists with smegma covered cocks all over the PCs faces and there is no way to avoid it. I'm not interested in games where I play a succubus or fuck colorful superpowered animals or manage a harem of recognizable celebrities or fandom characters. I'm not interested in games that would work better in systems that aren't DnD. Soooo here I am shouting into the void.
After binging some classic 80s and 90s "toonami" style anime for an Animon Story game (mostly Tenchi and FLCL) I've got a hankering for playing a cat girl, a space pirate princess, or a cat girl space pirate princess. After some discussions about cyberpunk I discovered a certain R. Talesorian game that used to be beloved back in the 80s and 90s but fell into the background over time. I discovered Teens from Outer Space and now I am craving the need to play an alien anime girl.
What do you want to play and why are you interested?
Teenagers from Outerspace is a rules light game from the creators of Cyberpunk. Extremely rules light when compared to contemporaries from the 80s and 90s to the point I'd argue it had to be an influence on PBTA and Fate since it feels very much like the bridge or progenitor to systems we see now.
Teenagers from Outerspace is a game based on fanservice heavy slice of life sci-fi and fantasy comedy animes like Urusei Yatsura, Ranma 1/2, FLCL, Doctor Slump, Tenchi Muyo, Chobits, and Fruit Baskets but also western cartoons like the 80s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the classic Power Rangers tv series from the 90s, or Megas XLR from the 2000s. You could also fit Dragon Ball in there, not DBZ but the original Dragon Ball.
Mechanically its pretty damn simple. You have to roll a d6 modified by your stats and the final result is a success based on what the GM agrees the target number would be. So if the GM says you need a 3 or higher to succeed and your final result is a 6 then you are good.
Character wise there are fouroptions to play:
- Humans! I don't really need to describe humans as, if you are reading this, then you most likely are one. So I don't gotta say shit. But I will say that Humans don't get superpowers. Humans instead get "abilities". Specifically they get the free ability of "Fake Out" that lets them back bullshit up about earth facts to have the alien do funny things along with another Humans Only ability like being Incedibly Cute or Filthy Rich.
- Near Humans! Think of Near Humans as your Sayans, Cat-Girls, Vulkans, and girls lathered in green body paint. Near Humans are aliens, androids, or other freaks that look human but have something off with them. They get cool powers.
- Not Very Near Humans! You are roughly humanoid but you don't really look it. Think your classic Monster Girl that has emphasis on the Girl side over the Monster half, Lil Grey Men, and probably most Furries.
- Real Weirdies! Real Weirdies are proper monsters. Think a sentient man sized cockroach or a telepathic alien supersoldier that is really stupid and speaks too much.
Character creation is also pretty damn simple as the player rolls a few d6s to determine attributes, powers, knacks, etc to determine your character's build and stuff.
Over all the average game of TfOS is the type of game where a basic bitch protaganist has to deal with his wacky harem of space magical girls with a lot of cheap fan service.
If I get to play I'd love to play a Human or a Near Human of some kind. Either a basic bitch dealing with his new alien gf OR an alien or android GF that crash landed on earth and is dealing with funny earth shenanigans.
**The spicy stuff**
So I'm roughly Demisexual. While I like Smut, I prefer a good story. I hate "sex powers" (succubi who can make people climax or JUST using magic to make your cock huge) and sex fighting (bad ends or treating Sex like combat) as I love steamy romance and spice moments that are on the side. I'm fine with some creative uses of superpowers or disciplines but I don't want it to be the main schtick. Like I'm fine with using life magic to make some have bigger loads but I'm not interested in doing a game where I can only use my powers during sex or giving sex it's own health bar.
I like using nudity and sex as a tool for storytelling since NSFW games can open up avenues for more adult and more personal stories that can't be done at a table without making things awkward.
