[M4F] 24 - looking for women to talk about refugees in Europe - Session: below

I am trying to better understand what it really means, today, to live or work alongside refugees here in Europe.

I realize that much of the information circulating online is filtered by ideologies or media simplifications, so I was wondering if any of you had a direct or more personal experience to share.

I am interested in both hearing real, lived stories and in engaging in broader reflections (even creative or symbolic ones, if you like).

I am here with respect and sincere curiosity to talk about it

[M4F] 24 - For Women Who Stay Silent About Refugees - Session: below

Let’s be honest—there’s a side of this conversation nobody wants to say out loud.

Everyone talks about welcoming, helping, understanding. But what happens when the reality doesn’t match the slogans?

When you feel uncomfortable in your own street… or when you realize you’re no longer sure who you're supposed to be polite to—or why?

I’m not here with answers. I’m here for something closer to guilt. Curiosity. Maybe even a bit of resentment you don’t quite know what to do with.

Have you ever enjoyed feeling generous… until something changed? Or felt a strange mix of superiority and shame? Or worse—found yourself noticing the smell, the noise, the stares… and hating yourself for noticing?

If you’ve been there—really been there—I’d like to hear you, even literally with Voice if you are comfortable.

Tell me what you don’t tell at dinner.

Not for outrage. Not for pity. Just for the raw, conflicted truth.
