what drug for confident, playful mood on night out?

Simple Alcohol has always been my go-too

But sometimes i feel like alcohol doesn't make me as 'silly' and care free and confident as it used to do on a night out. I also sometimes get a slight depression the next few days after.

I know this is something supposedly 'common' (alcohol is a depressent after all?) but for the first 35 years of my life, I never seemed to get that.

It would make me happy and silly and socially confident and the effect almost seemed to last into the next day at least. is it an age thing? A change in brain chemistry?

is there another drug that gives a more of a 'silly'/happy/energetic effect for a night out? Cocaine has always had a weird effect on my and actually makes me quite withdrawn (I think I have adhd). I miss feeling 'confident' on a night out and am on the look out for something different
