And of course tell me which of these 2 plots you prefer
Plot 1: Ashes of the Jedi
Years after the horrors of the Order 66, a lone Jedi Knight named Seris Vhal barely escaped the massacre. Wounded, hunted, and disillusioned with the fallen Jedi Order, she vanished into the far reaches of the Outer Rim. There, on the isolated world of Veyrune, she found something she had never known during her years as a Jedi: peace.
The planet was ruled by a noble king who welcomed refugees and outsiders. Over time, Seris and the king fell deeply in love. She abandoned her Jedi identity, buried her lightsaber beneath the palace, and built a new life far away from the war. Together they raised several children, and for nearly fifteen years the shadow of the Empire never reached them.
But the Force cannot remain hidden forever.
One evening, during a royal festival, Seris’s youngest daughter, Lyra, instinctively used the Force to save her brother from a deadly accident. The moment lasted only seconds—but somewhere across the galaxy, Imperial hunters searching for surviving Force-sensitives detected the disturbance.
Within days, the Empire arrived.
Star Destroyers descended from the clouds as Imperial troops stormed the kingdom. The royal guard was slaughtered, the palace burned, and most of the family was captured alive for interrogation. Amid the chaos, Seris ordered Lyra and her older brother Kael to flee through hidden tunnels beneath the city.
As their ship escaped into the night sky, they witnessed the final horror: their mother standing alone against Darth Vader.
Blue and red lights clashed in the darkness before the ship jumped to hyperspace.
The siblings eventually crash-landed on Tatooine, one of the harshest worlds in the Outer Rim. With no money, no allies, and Imperial forces still hunting them, they were forced to survive however they could. Kael became a smuggler and bounty hunter, dealing with criminals, Hutt cartels, and black-market traders. Lyra secretly trained herself in the Force using fragmented lessons remembered from her mother.
At first, her abilities are weak and uncontrolled—small telekinetic movements, heightened reflexes, brief visions—but over time she slowly grows stronger. The deeper she reaches into the Force, however, the more attention she risks drawing from the Empire and the Inquisitors.
Meanwhile, rumors begin to surface across the galaxy:
A secret Imperial prison holding Force-sensitive captives.
A masked Inquisitor searching specifically for “the daughter of Veyrune.”
Whispers that Seris Vhal may have survived her duel with Vader… but at a terrible cost.
Now Lyra faces an impossible choice:
Remain hidden and survive… or risk everything to rescue the family she lost.
Themes
Family vs duty

Whether hatred and revenge will corrupt Lyra
Long-Term Story Potential
Lyra slowly building her own version of the Jedi way
Kael becoming morally torn between profit and protecting others
Seris possibly becoming an Imperial prisoner, servant, or broken Jedi

A final confrontation between Lyra and Vader years later

Plot 2: The Last Hidden Temple
In the years following Order 66, a surviving Jedi Master named Teren Val escaped into the Unknown Regions with a handful of Force-sensitive children. Knowing the Jedi Order was destroyed, Teren believed the old ways had failed. Instead of rebuilding the Jedi exactly as they were, he hoped to create something new—an order that would survive where the old one fell.
Hidden deep within the ruins of an ancient temple on a forgotten world, the survivors trained in secret for years. The students became close like siblings, each struggling with fear, anger, and the trauma left behind by the Clone Wars and the rise of the Empire.
But isolation created tension.
Some students wanted revenge against the Empire. Others feared leaving the safety of the temple at all. Teren forbade anyone from traveling beyond the surrounding systems, warning them that even a single mistake could expose them all.
One student ignored that warning.
A gifted but reckless apprentice named Dax ventured beyond the hidden territory searching for information about his lost family. During his journey, he encountered none other than Darth Vader.
Terrified and desperate to survive, Dax betrayed the location of the hidden Jedi sanctuary in exchange for mercy and a promise of pardon.
Vader accepted.
Then, true to the cruelty of the Empire, Dax was tortured, broken, and transformed into an Inquisitor anyway.
The Empire descended upon the temple without warning.
Clone veterans, purge troopers, and Inquisitors massacred many of the students. Jedi Master Teren stayed behind to buy time for the survivors to escape. The remaining apprentices fled aboard stolen ships while their master dueled Vader within the burning temple halls.
They never saw him again.
Now scattered across the galaxy, the surviving students are hunted relentlessly by the Empire. Every world could hide spies. Every use of the Force risks exposure. Trust becomes dangerous—even among themselves.
Worse still, Dax now leads the hunt.
As a newly forged Inquisitor, he knows their fighting styles, fears, hiding places, and weaknesses better than anyone. He twists their shared past against them, trying to convince the survivors that the Jedi are dead and resistance is meaningless.
The survivors must decide:
Continue hiding and slowly die out…
Or unite and fight back against impossible odds.
But the dark side feeds on fear, grief, and anger. One by one, the students may fall—not just to death, but to corruption.
Themes
Betrayal and guilt
Found family under pressure
The psychological horror of being hunted
Whether the Jedi deserved to fall
Hope in a galaxy consumed by fear
Long-Term Story Potential
Former students turning against one another
Hidden Jedi vaults and ancient Force secrets
Dax struggling between regret and loyalty to Vader
Survivors joining rebel cells before the Rebellion officially forms
A possible choice between rebuilding the Jedi… or creating something entirely new
A tragic ending where only one survivor remains
Both plots have strong potential because they focus on survival after the fall of the Jedi instead of the Jedi at their peak. They feel personal, emotional, and dangerous—which fits the darker era after the Empire rises.
