I’ve been attempting to lactate for a while now but got pregnant (previous posts explain).
I’m in the colostrum phase currently but making a lot surprisingly. In the pic I had double this amount but spilled it 😭 had to start again.
I have to gush about my pregnancy experience.
Since my previous post I’ve survived severe sickness and dramatic physical changes, and I’m so grateful and proud of my body, mind, and spirit.
I’ve become so big compared to my previous body, I had no idea how petite and flat my tummy was until this experience. It’s fun to see my belly progress pics advancing so dramatically especially lately.
My breasts have also changed in so many ways and I’m finally pumping colostrum as I write this (Between brain fog breaks as I try to collect my words).
The brain fog itself is a relief in a way, I can daydream instead of my baby. He is so active and will throw himself around in me and I adore it. I find myself cooing at my own belly and holding it through the day. I love it so much.
It reminds me of the constant presence of his daddy even when we’re not together. He is so happy too. He engineered this and is still guiding us all. I genuinely trust his leadership in this.
It’s not all been sunshine but the experience has been incredible in so many ways and we both wanted this.
