📞 Your Hips Called… They’re Ready for a Day Off 😉

Most of us service our cars more often than we service our own bodies.

Lately, especially through winter, I’ve been seeing a lot more tight hips and reduced mobility. It’s become a really common complaint, particularly in men working labour-intensive jobs.

If you work in the mines, construction, farming, transport, workshops, or any physical job, your hips do a lot more than you probably give them credit for. Sitting in machinery, climbing in and out of equipment, lifting, walking on uneven ground, and years of repetitive movement all add up.

These stretches take around 10 to 15 minutes and can be done:
• At home
• At camp
• At the gym
• Even while watching TV

You don’t need to be flexible to start. You just need to start.
Here’s something to think about…

If your hips feel stiff today, what will they feel like in one year?
What about five years?

Your future body is built by the small things you do consistently, not the big things you do once.

Massage is a great tool, but it’s only one piece of the puzzle. Daily movement, stretching, strength, hydration, quality sleep, and looking after yourself between appointments are what really make the difference.

Aim to move your body every day, even if it’s only for 10 minutes.
Your body has carried you through every shift you’ve ever worked.

It’s worth looking after. 💛

💆 What do you offer?
A full-body relaxation massage using a mixture of relaxation and deep tissue techniques, working on your lower body, back and up to your scalp, neck, shoulders, chest and anywhere you’re holding tension.

💰 Pricing
• 60-minute massage: $100

📱 How do I book?
Simply text me. I no longer take booking enquiries by phone, so text is the quickest and easiest way to reach me.

🩺 Do you offer remedial massage?
No. If I think your needs are better suited to a remedial massage therapist or physiotherapist, I’ll always be honest and let you know.

👕 Do you wear clothes?
Yes. I wear yoga-style apparel while massaging, and clients are appropriately draped throughout the session.

📸 Is that really you?
Yep! 😄 That’s me. I just used AI to remove my tattoos because they’re quite recognisable, and I like to keep a little privacy online.

No. 😊 I’m Australian.

Absolutely!

😴 Who books with you?
Mine workers, tradies, office workers, shift workers, mums, women… anyone wanting an hour to relax, switch off and reset.

🌿 What do you do when you’re not massaging?
Believe it or not… I have a life! 😂 You’ll usually find me spending time with my kids, hanging out with friends, walking on the beach, cuddling my cats, working my other job, or pottering around at home. If I don’t reply straight away, I’m probably doing one of those things. I promise I’ll get back to you when I can.

🧡 What’s your favourite part of your job?
When a client finishes their massage, stands up, and you can instantly see the difference. They look more refreshed, less stressed, and a little lighter than when they walked in. That’s the best feeling.

I’m incredibly grateful for the many respectful clients who support my business.
As my business continues to grow, I also need to be clear about my boundaries.

I am a massage therapist. My role is to provide a professional massage service. It is not a dating opportunity. Please do not confuse the intimacy of massage for personal feelings.

Whilst I genuinely care for my clients health and well being and as such as I always try to provide my best work in a session; I am providing a service.

Recently, I’ve been faced with the following behaviours, which I have zero tolerance for:

❌ Repeatedly call or text after I’ve declined a booking or ended communication.

❌ Use multiple names or false identities when making a booking.

❌ Attempt to contact or rebook using different phone numbers after being blocked or declined.

❌ Continue requesting services after I’ve clearly said I don’t offer them.

❌ Attempting to contact me on multiple platforms after I’ve declined a booking

I keep all texts from all existing and potential clients. If you don’t get a response then it simply means I’m not the massage therapist for you. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, and Mackay has a very wide variety of therapists that may suit. Don’t take it personally. Just move on.

I doubt you would repeatedly contact your doctor, dentist, physiotherapist or hairdresser after being told no, or create new identities to make an appointment.

Please extend the same respect to massage therapists.

The vast majority of my clients are genuine, respectful people, and I appreciate every one of you. These boundaries exist so I can continue providing a safe, professional environment for everyone.
