In the midst of an empire in constant flux between rival houses, petty kingdoms and jockeying nobles, the work of sellswords, mercenaries, soldiers of fortune and bounty hunters is never in short supply. In this wild medieval landscape, monsters roam unopposed.

Thusly, when a woman sets out on the road to claim her fortune in any way she can, it soon becomes apparent that a talent for the bloody work is easily found. Soon her fame spreads and a fortune grows, and more and more dangerous beasts become her prey.
