Tuesday was a pretty peaceful day at the beach, there appeared to be less than a handful of people on the beach at Trail 6. From the parking lot, you could tell even Trail 1 had better attendance, mostly just the regular surf crew. There were no rangers anywhere to be seen in the campground park, not even one truck all afternoon and later when I drove out of the park.
I did see a fully dressed not for the beach retired couple power walking down the trail and making a bee line for the fence, only to be disappointed by the razor wire across what used to be a wide open trail. They got the hint and headed back to the parking lot.
