Hello! I'm on a work trip and find myself as always wondering what sorts of shenanigans I could get into. I would love to hear stories from anyone at all, really about the type of trouble that you have gotten into while away from home.

Was it a short tryst? A missed connection you wished you had when you got home? Did you do things you regret, that you want to hide now?

Give me some inspiration for making the most out of my travels. I have some thoughts on what I might do,but haven't settled yet.

It was another gorgeous day in the North Cascades - I say another because it was summer, and it had been hiking perfection for weeks. the dull rains of most of the year has given way to the dry, sunny days that had the entire city out in their Subarus and hiking boots.

Gus has gotten up to be at the trailhead early. Like, early enough to see the sunrise on the way early. He was hoping it would be worth it. After having moved to the city a few months ago, he was trying to get outside and meet new people. Tall and fit, with a burly physique, hiking had seemed the natural answer.

So like countless chougy millennials before him, he had found a hiking group. it was through meetup, which certainly didn't help it's legitimacy, but he needed something. And today was a day marked on the calendar - the first hike of the year in his area, and on a workday he could actually make. He arrived at the off the beaten path to the devil's waterfalls - it had been chosen for having a big parking lot.

This morning though, he was the only car in the lot. running his hands through his curly brown hair, he wondered who would arrive next.
