I’m looking to set up a slice-of-life, character-drive roleplay set within the world of professional wrestling, something grounded, immersive, and focused on chemistry, personality, and day-to-day life rather than constant in-ring action.
The main idea is to write a male opposite someone playing a female wrestler such as Scarlett Bordeaux (the “Smokeshow”) or another visually striking/charismatic talent from any promotion (WWE, AEW, TNA, Stardom, etc.). I’m very open to suggestions if you have someone you love writing.
Possible Dynamics:
Canon pairing (e.g. Scarlett & Karrion Kross / Killer Kross)
Colleagues on the roster (slow-burn, backstage interactions, travel, media, etc.)
Fan x wrestler (grounded, respectful, more “chance encounter turned something more”)
Wrestler x wrestler (original or canon male counterpart)
Tone & Style:
Slice of life with romance, tension, and emotional beats
Backstage moments, travel, interviews, quiet personal scenes
Optional light drama (jealousy, career pressures, public vs private life)
Nothing overly rushed — I like letting scenes breathe
What I’m Looking For:
Someone comfortable writing a confident, layered female character
Good grasp of personality (doesn’t have to be 100% canon-perfect, just believable)
Collaborative mindset — I love building ideas together rather than dictating everything
Semi-lit to lit writing (quality over quantity)
