I was pierced at 6g back in December 2025. I ended up taking it out mid March 2026 because I was the distance between my fistula and urethral meatus was decreasing and the PA itself was difficult for my lifestyle/career choice (I am a professional actor/singer/dancer).

I do not experience any urine dribble, the hole is pretty small. The hole still exists - from time to time I will stick an 18g clicker in it just to keep it open, and it slides in with ease. Do not be confused - I do not wear 18g jewelry! I just put it in quickly and then immediately take it out.

I am curious about restretching the hole so I can put it my PA when I feel like it. I really miss the sensations it gave, and now that it's healed, I could see an option where I just take it out for work. I tried putting in a 12g ring the other day - wouldn't go in, so my reopening/restretching journey would be long and dangerous considering anything smaller than a 10g is at risk for ripping through. Definitely open to suggestions about this!

Overall, I'm happy I took it out, but do miss it, so I am also happy the hole didn't close - there are definitely pros and cons to the decision.
