Tired of feeling alone
Greetings redditors.
I've been lurking for a couple weeks now and I thought I'd try a post of my own.
First, I'll take the stance now that I do not ghost anyone. If we're done, it will be plainly stated if its my decision.
I am a writer. Been working on my craft for a few months now, figuring out what exactly I'd like to channel my newfound fixation toward. And I choose the word fixation carefully, because thats exactly what this has become for me. I live in a house full of gamers and now I understand why I always felt like a bit of an outsider. If ever I could have called myself a proper gamer, those days have passed me by.
I came here looking for people to connect with over writing but also to find sounding boards for particular beats that I still struggle with. I do not shy away from violent or explicit beats in my work and as such, I could really use a few people who can tell me if I'm hot or cold on certain scenes.
That said, I'm perfectly willing to talk to just about anyone about anything on this side of the law. I don't even mind nsfw chats if you can carry on a conversation about it and don't try to sell me something. Any legal age or gender is fine. I'm in the US unfortunately so bear that in mind if timezones concern you, I keep weird hours though so it doesn't bother me much.
I got discord and considering instagram if you also hate reddits chat system, which still refuses to notify me half the time so drop a comment here if I don't respond.
And lastly, for the jaded people in the room, I want to clarify here and now, that if you think I am flirting with you or anything of the sort, I can tell you now that you are mistaken. I don't have time or brainspace for that. I don't know what it would take to distract me from my work for more than an hour or so but it certainly isn't that.
