While it doesn't go quite as deep as the 23mm, and it wants to spring back out right away, the 24mm end does fit as well.

This is about as far as I can safely go with the 23mm at the moment. (Note the bulge where the tip is.) I can go a bit farther, but it's so tight it springs back out. Plus, after that is a very tight spot and I don't want to force it. I'll just have to wait until things loosen up with 22mm.

The photo I posted the other day was a still from the first video I took with the 21/22mm Hegar. I haven't figured out how one can post video here on Reddit, so for now I'll post a sequence of stills from that video showing how far it went down.

My original collection of Hegar sounds maxed out at 20.5mm. It's too easy now, so I finally bit the bullet and added some larger ones to my collection. The first one I took for a test drive was the 21/22mm. I used the 21mm end for a warm-up, then continued over with the 22mm end. (Which I can bottom-out; future pic to come.)
