Drugs are addictive because of what you (and others) could be but aren't

Does anyone else relate to the idea of what makes drugs so addictive isnt just some feeling you get, it's the person that you become temporarily when high, ideally. Like, that moment when you care about someone more deeply, fully and throughoutly than you could ever have sober. When you are listening to them and responding more lovingly and wholeheartly and listening to them more intensely and fully than you would sober. When you are more immersed in a moment than you'd ever be sober. Like these moments that you can't attain sober is what makes drugs addictive. Not just some good feeling. It's like you temporarily installed the software (drugs/neurotransmitters) that allowed you to utilize your hardware (brain) most effectively. Sure, stimfap sessions also keep you coming back, but
