I felt the snapping of the wolves at my heels as I ran through the woods. I heard the howling of the rest of the pack. I had come to the woods to do my daily chores for mother. Gather berries and mushrooms. It was supposed to be a peaceful day until I lost track of time. I was deep in the woods when the sun set, and I heard the wolves hunting me. I felt the hem of my dress rip as one of the wolves grabbed a mouthful of clothes. It tripped me up, and I was falling to the soft ground of the forest. I braced for the teeth for the bite that would bring death….instead I felt the wet rough feeling of a tongue between my legs. The wolf pressing at her sniffed, then let out a long howl.
