D/S Dynamics in Unexpected Locations.
Who among you found themselves in an unexpected D/S scenario outside of the expected locations? I started playing Final Fantasy XIV and created a bun boy, with the idea that I'd play and maybe get into the one off ERP every here and there. And yes, I'm playing on a server conducive to that and would not try to create that with random people in duties and so forth.
About a week into returning I come across this bun lady who is social role playing with another guy (who she also just met) and she pulls me into it. By the end of the day we're friends. By the end of the week I'm invited into the same Free Company (think Guild if you've played WoW, a large social group that can chat together regardless of location, grants bonuses, and share an in game housing space). Within a month I'm known in the community as her pet and have had a variety of reward and punishment games together.
Now I wish her good morning and good night every day on Discord, roleplaying that I live with her and sleep in her bed by her feet. She takes me on walks (which of course is completely voluntary on my behalf since there is no real leash, or other control another character mechanic in Final Fantasy XIV) around the game. And we always make sure to check in on each other, confirm everything is okay and that no boundaries are broken whenever we push into new types of play. It's been amazing, especially since I thought at the most I might occasionally find someone who wants to do a quick ERP sext when I made my character. It makes me wonder who else has similar positive stories from unexpected origins.
