I went with with a Dynavap B2 with an Armor Cap and a 10/14mm adapter!
We (wife and I) attempted to vape nearly a decade ago. We purchase an expensive desktop device that unfortunately combusted the cannabis anyway. WE GAVE UP!
Flash forward to this year.
My wife purchased a Yocan Hit 2. EHHGH (we didn't know)
So we figured out with the yocan hit 2 the mouthpiece is crap and hard to keep on. The internal parts are garbage and most of them have to be removed for the vape to work properly. All in all We should not have purchased it.
Flash forward to Brink Ooze.
So then I decided after watching youtube videos again, that I wanted a ooze brink. It wasn't as bad as the yocan hit 2 but it's still bad. The mouthpieces has this hot dog down a hall way issue where you can't cram the flappy flaps back in once they get hot. Till it does get hot and they actually do. Yeah I know. a polite way of saying yet another pos. (I still use it but it's not ideal)
So my wife buys a stealth m7 xl. with the all the bells and whistles that it has. heats up fast, cools down fast, prefect for her to reload over and over again. She can relight quickly for another session or reload quickly for more sessions. The mouthpiece she loves, because basicly she wouldn't be happy with the standard m7 without that xl mouth piece.
But I tried to use it. At first I was like ok respect the click repect the click, where the fuck is the click... boom smoke... every time.
After wasting a few bowls I started to figure it out. Double dlicking ok, silent vibrations and then a click ok. if i don't hear it 3 seconds after the initial vibration, ok. It all started to make sense.
So then I did a lot of reading, reddit mostly, but reviews. I even asked what does everyone recommend for an electronic device because I thought I wanted to suck on a hot oven for 12 minutes. I mean I really truely did.
Then I was like the B2...
But then there is the why...
I don't want hot little fingers. silicone
I don't want a heavy device. silicone
(i mean my wife's is 14g or something the m7 steal is 26g or something) nah nah
I want longer sessions. Armor cap.
I want to be able to find the hole. (it doesn't roll) [more boxy] silcone
I don't want to rotate the damn thing and try to figure out the click at the same time... argh omg no... Armor cap.
And people who have used the B or have the B2 like it and have used it for years. So that tells me it will last.
I got the recommendation online for a rogue 2 and some other units when I asked about electronic devices. But I think that is not the direction I want to go. And I wanted to keep my budget low.
Now will I buy a verdium or something simular later, hell yeah. I would.
Will I buy a wood body, or a woodwind one later. hell yeah, I would.
But for right now, it's not a matter of beauty so much as practicality.
The 10/14mm adapter is for us to share unfortunately. And As I found out with my wife's Stealth m7 xl. Sharing is not always ideal.
So for my setup, B2, armor cap. and a 10/14mm for us to share. Seemed like the smart move for me. (I mean really the adapter is for her, so...)
Also, for some reason silicone rings make me nervous. And the B2 doesn't have any of those... (settings for airflow 4 different settings blah, nah)
I like to keep things simple. Torch click vape vape vape.
Edit: correction Cap armor - the sleave that fits over the cap.
