[LFG] [DMV] Seeking a “Tank” to lead a new D&D group (Session 0 soon!) 🛡️💀
We have a new group forming in the DMV (3 players + 1 DM) and we’ve run into a serious party balance issue. Currently, we are a group of three players who all specialize in "Backline" roles—lots of utility and support, but absolutely no one to hold the line.
We’re looking for 1–2 guys who thrive as a Tank. We need someone comfortable being on the Frontline, taking charge of the encounter, and leading the way through the dungeon.
We’re looking for more than just a weekly game; we’re looking for a group with high chemistry. To be transparent: we’re all chill, active guys, and we’re hoping to find players who enjoy the "Short Rest" as much as the quest itself. We’re looking for guys who fit that assertive/Frontline role and are open to seeing where a high Charisma check leads once the session wraps up. If the party clicks, we’re definitely down for some "off-book" bonding and hookups.
The Character Spotlight: I’m running a Level 6 Eldritch Horror Necromancer:
Build: Warlock5(Undead)/Cleric1(DeathDomain)
Race/Background: Hexblood / Haunted One. I’ve got the spooky debuffs and crowd control covered, but as a squishy caster, I’m looking for a sturdy Tank to protect my concentration.
What we’re looking for:
Reliable guys in the DMV area.
Players who enjoy Tank/Martial/Frontline roles.
DM me. Tell me about your favorite Tank build and what kind of loot you’re looking for in a new party.
