When it does feel right for someone, they may feel like it shouldn’t. They may think if they stay far away from it, and have sex only in committed relationships, they are definitely “not a slut” or get universally-upstanding-sexual-citizen status. (Also a nope.) In a lot of ways, our world has a longstanding love/hate relationship with casual sex. Mixed messaging runs amok.
