Cold day
Forecast was wrong. It never got to 18degC. Quite nippley, chilly day. Only about 10 people showed up. The sun did come out around 6pm. Lot's of deer tracks on the beach.

Angry Beavers flooding P4 & P5
Today (Fri, May 15, 2026) the girl at the entrance explained (with a smirk) that Parking lot 4 & 5 are still closed due to flooding by "angry beavers." So, if your planning to visit this May 2-4 weekend you'll have a bit further to walk.
