Before you read this, I want to make it clear that these are 100% real events. Nothing here is made up, exaggerated, or fantasy.

If you didn’t read my last post, please do. I wrote that post because I genuinely wanted to know if the things that were happening were inappropriate or if I was just reaching. Now that I know I’m not reaching, this is where I started testing the waters.

So continuing from the last post, after the casino and water park trip, a couple months later my girlfriend’s dad ended up in the hospital and was very sick. My girlfriend’s mom was obviously very distraught, and so was my girlfriend. We decided to stay with her mom for a few days to help out until her husband got out of the hospital.

We were all basically grieving and trying to help my girlfriends mom get through everything. This is also when I decided to test the waters because of all the encounters me and my girlfriend’s mom had already had in the past, and now her husband wasn’t around.

I started giving her a lot of hugs and comforting her more than I normally would. She seemed to enjoy the attention and kept telling me she loved me. That part was normal, but she also started following me around the house throughout the day after I was giving her so much attention.

My girlfriend eventually decided to get a bunch of liquor and throw a small get-together with family. Before everyone arrived, I started taking shots and pregaming. I had originally planned on having a quick moment alone with my girlfriend, but she was too busy entertaining family, which was fine.

At one point I was sitting in the kitchen, and I noticed my girlfriends mom sitting by herself watching everyone. Since I had some liquid courage in me, and horny and had a chubby going I’m normally a very reserved and quiet person, I walked over and gave her a hug. While hugging her, i put my chub on my girlfriend mom lap and I kissed her on the neck and told her I loved her and that everything was going to be alright.

At that moment, my girlfriends mom put her hand on my lap and left it there for several seconds. I could feel her react physically, and I noticed a look in her eyes that made me think she felt something too.

Once I saw her reaction, I didn’t want to push things any further, so I got up, fixed myself, and went back to the kitchen.

That was the first encounter that day.

Like I said before, she spent most of the day kind of following me around, but I played it cool because my girlfriend was there and I wanted to respect that.

Fast forward to later that evening. There were probably 12-15 people at the house. Everyone was drinking except my girlfriend’s mom she doesn’t drink. The family was hanging out, laughing, and having a good time.

I was sitting next to my girlfriend on a bench in the kitchen when her mom came over and sat between us. I had been drinking and smoking earlier, so I was definitely feeling more confident than usual.

I put my arm around her while she was sitting between us and started rubbing her lower back. In my last post I mentioned that she’s a very attractive woman, so I decided to see what would happen if I pushed things a little further.

My girlfriend noticed some of the touching, so I started showing my girlfriend attention too and kept things looking casual.

Eventually my girlfriend got up because the kids were crying in another room. Once she walked away, I took the opportunity to put my hand under my girlfriend’s mom’s shirt and rub her back. Then I went lower and put my hands under leggings and was rubbing her butt over her panties  She didn’t pull away or stop me. 

She looked at me and smirked, which I took as a sign that she was enjoying it. Eventually she got up and when she got up you can see nice wet spot between her leggings she had on

After that, things between us definitely felt different.

From that day forward, it seemed like something had changed between both of us. Whenever we saw each other, the hugs became longer. She always seemed to want to hug me when my girlfriend wasn’t around. She would find reasons to be close to me, snuggle up next to me when she had the chance, and put her hand on my lap whenever she could.

Even though things started getting more intense after that day, I still tried to keep things respectful.

This is just a small update. There are a lot more encounters after this, and things have escalated quite a bit up to the present day. I just didn’t want to make another extremely long post like the last one.

For context, I’m 29 and my girlfriend is 27. We’ve been together for 7 years and have 3 beautiful children together. Like any relationship, we’ve had our ups and downs, but overall we have a great relationship.

I met her parents about 6 months into our relationship. At first they weren’t very fond of me, which I understood because I was the first serious boyfriend their daughter had brought around.

A few months later, my girlfriend became pregnant with our first child and we moved into her parents’ house for a while.

This is where things started getting weird.

One morning around 5 a.m., my girlfriend had left for work and I got up to use the bathroom. I opened the bathroom door and realized my mother-in-law was in there. It was dark and I honestly didn’t know anyone was inside. I immediately apologized and closed the door. She didn’t seem upset and just smirked.

The next day while we were all sitting together, she brought up the incident and joked, “I thought he was ready to do the damn thing.”

Everyone laughed it off, but it struck me as an odd comment.

Not long after that, there was another awkward bathroom-related incident that caused tension in the house. My girlfriend’s father got involved and eventually he and I got into a verbal argument. Things became uncomfortable enough that we eventually moved out.

After that, my girlfriend and her parents didn’t really talk much for about a year.

Fast forward: my girlfriend was pregnant with our second child and decided to reconnect with her parents. Around that same time, we decided to upgrade from our apartment to a condo.

The day before I was scheduled to sign the paperwork, my girlfriend went into labor. The next day, her mother offered to ride with me to handle the condo paperwork while everyone else stayed with my girlfriend and the baby.

After we got the keys and opened the door to the condo, her mom became extremely excited. She jumped on me, knocked me backward, hugged me tightly, and kissed me on the cheek several times. At first I thought she was just happy for us, but the situation felt oddly intimate and made me uncomfortable. I brushed it off and convinced myself I was overthinking it.

A few months later, after a death in the family, we all took a trip together to a water park and casino.

When we got to the hotel, we realized the sleeping arrangements weren’t ideal. My girlfriend and I immediately said we’d take the smaller room for privacy.

That’s when her mother made a comment along the lines of, “You two can stay in here with us. Maybe if you have sex it’ll make my husband want to have sex with me. We haven’t had sex in years.”

Both my girlfriend and I immediately said no and thought it was a strange thing to say.

Later during the trip, I felt like she was watching me in a way that made me uncomfortable. I mentioned it to my girlfriend, who noticed some of the same behavior. Again, we laughed it off because the alternative seemed ridiculous.

At one point while everyone was swimming, she invited me to climb on her back in the pool. I declined because it felt inappropriate and by that point I was already uncomfortable with some of the comments and interactions that had happened over the years.

There are several more incidents that happened after this, and honestly they get even stranger.

Am I reading too much into this, or does this sound like my mother-in-law has crossed some boundaries?
