You are used to surviving. College is hard, you surely did not expect it to be easy, but at this point it feels like drowning. You can barely cover rent alone, you rarely eat a healthy meal, and your part-time job at the bar is not enough anymore. You do not want to survive anymore, you want comfort, real food, and respectable life conditions.
Reaching the summer and the end of your first year, you decide to work your way through summer to save up for the next semester. One night, you scroll through local job listings, buried between the listings you stumble across: Live-in maid wanted. No experience necessary. Excellent pay, immediate start.
It sounds sketchy, too good to be true. This place is nestled in the hills outside of the city, far from campus- but it does sound promising. You think to yourself that you would simply be cleaning for a rich family. However you are still skeptical about it. No interview needed, no references, I only give you a time, a day and the gate code.
You arrive at the attractive property, and finally get to meet me at the entrance. You learn that I live alone in the villa for the summer, my family being away on holidays. The pay is real, I do seem serious, and the work light. As attractive as that sounds, the only thing braking you is, me... you sense that I have some secrets, and perhaps another project for you. However, you need the job, you and I both know it.
