Do you ever feel like sometimes, no matter how thoroughly you search,no matter how hard you try, the thing you're looking for is just out of reach? So incredibly close. You can see it. You can smell it. You can *sense* it, but you just can't touch it. Perhaps it's because it's my birthday today that my dream seems especially futile, especially fragile.
