I'm 25, a UAE local based in Abu Dhabi, and I figured I'd try putting this out there and seeing who I meet.
I'm looking for something genuine rather than collecting matches or forcing something just because we're both single.
My “type” is much more about personality than looks. I tend to like feminine, affectionate, playful women who are loyal, curious and maybe a little weird. The biggest thing is probably having a spark of life, your own interests, opinions, passions, ambitions or random things you could happily talk about for an hour.
You don't need to be academic. You could have a doctorate or never have stepped inside a university; I just like someone who thinks for herself, notices things, asks questions and occasionally gives me a perspective I've genuinely never considered before.
And please disagree with me sometimes 😂. I love conversations where two people can challenge each other's ideas without treating disagreement like a personal attack. I don't need you to think like me, I'd rather learn how you think.
I'm naturally someone who likes planning, taking initiative and leading a little, but I'm not looking for someone passive. Have your own voice. Tell me what you want. Veto my terrible ideas. Let me take the wheel sometimes because you trust me, not because you don't have one of your own.
I'm very affectionate too. Hugs, cuddling, physical closeness and generally making each other feel loved and safe matter a lot to me. Trust and loyalty matter even more. I want the kind of relationship where we can trust that we're protecting each other's interests even when the other person isn't in the room.
Looks aren't a checklist for me. Take care of yourself, have good hygiene and care about your health. Beyond that, I've always found that someone's mind and personality can completely change how beautiful I find her anyway.
I don't particularly need us to share hobbies either. I'd actually love you having things you can introduce me to while I introduce you to mine.

You have your own universe. I have mine. Neither of us needs to disappear into the other. We explore both, influence each other, and eventually build a third little world that's ours.
