Suddenly she raises her phone with a video playing. It was of him pocketing several bills in his pocket instead of putting them in the register when he was working the register that morning. His jaw dropped. Was this real? A deep fake? His mind raced as he attempted to think about what happened this morning. Jeremy was so tired when he got to work that he couldn't remember. Did he do this? Clearly it was a mistake. He wouldn't get punished for a mistake right? His adrenaline spiked making his breathing labored and his face flushed red. He wanted to run away. He wanted to smash the phone. He wasn't sure what to do. That's when the beautiful woman reached for one of the airpods and pulled out of his ear.
