So I haven’t flown in about two years and the last time I did, I was required to take my shoes off through the TSA checkpoint. I think sometime last year they ended the shoes off policy. Does anyone here who’s flown in the last year miss taking their shoes off and possibly going barefoot on that cold, dusty tile? I remember many times wearing loafers without socks and bring forced to walk through the metal detector and then have to stand in bare feet while I waited on the other side for my shoes.

So this is a bit complicated, but 13-15 years ago, I was living with my mother for a couple of years and we had a roommate to help split the costs. He was a major dickhead and long story short, acted like he owned the house, taking over all the common areas, inviting his friends over whenever he wanted without input, and always parking his car in the best parking spot.

One day, he rented a carpet cleaner and without telling me decided on his own to clean the carpets. He then told me to start taking my shoes off (which I had a habit of wearing all the time in and out of the house). I argued with him over it but I realized despite all the bad things he’d already done, this was a losing battle.

The next day, I walked into the kitchen and I saw him in the living room playing video games, loud as hell as usual. So I took off my shoes at the threshold and since I had black socks on and I didn’t want any confusion on him not being able to tell if I took my shoes off, I peeled those off as well and walked through the living room in my bare feet. He said something like “thanks for taking your shoes off.” And I was a smartass and said “yeah, I took my socks off too. Can’t take any chances with this pristine carpet.”

Anyways, I went completely barefoot in the house from then on and I think it helped me overcome my own foot shyness, despite the fact I always had a fetish. And now, just as I did back then, I got secretly turned on by suddenly being banned from wearing shoes and having my bare feet on display.

So Brooke Burke posted on her socials today that she’s doing some kind of Netflix documentary on foot fetishes and she’s apparently even talking about starting her own foot page! She’s always been very open about it and I absolutely love how she embraces it! It’s clear she is proud of her own feet as she should be and has even admitted she has a foot fetish for male feet if they’re well groomed.

My wife and I have a friend who sometimes comes over to our house. She’s very good about taking off her shoes when she comes over because my wife and I are already barefoot. Anyways, when she came over most recently, she had on leggings and those thin black Havaianas flip flops I love and her toes looked recently done. Per usual, she took her flip flops off and put her bare feet up on the furniture and walked around the house. She even kept stretching her feet out and rubbed her toes into the carpet. Truly awesome.

Does anyone find women who sometimes or often sport natural toenails as sexy? I’m a huge lover of colorful polish, but there is something as equally alluring as bare, natural nails. There’s both confidence and vulnerability happening at the same time when a woman goes unpolished. A few weeks ago, my wife and I were chilling on a Saturday. She had blue polish on her toes and it was holding up very nicely still and she came back from the bathroom with the polish remover and took all the polish off. Even when we went back out that weekend, she put the same rubber flip flops back on that she had just sported with blue polish, now showing off her natural nails. It was just so hot and badass how she rocked her natural nails with confidence.
