What’s the fascination with the kitchen?

Okay. Basically, I believe this is a universal experience.
When having people over, no matter who, no matter how long etc.
In this question specifically, obviously, whdn on the bag.

The “party” or whatever is in the livingroom. With whatever that involves. Held in the livingroom.

BUT. Why the f. Does it always move to the kitchen?
What’s the thing with being there? Standing?

I get it if it’s like two people have to talk 1-1. But I feel like everyone always ends up in there!??
