Your brother is too old to need a babysitter, and frankly you’re a bit pissed off about having to waste the weekend watching him when you could be off hanging out with your friends. At the very least, you know it’ll be fun to boss him around all you like while your parents are away, forcing him to do all the cooking and cleaning while you get high and watch tv on the couch or relax poolside. Hell, you can dress as comfortably as you want too! It’s your house and you’re in charge while your parents are away after all. Who is going to do anything about it, your little brother?
