Life for you had been pretty bland and ordinary up until this point of your life. You were an ordinary girl who had come from a generic family, with a basic upbringing and a very boring social life. Basically, you and your life were as normal as they got. Luckily for you though that’s just how you happened to like it. You had a caring and loving family and a group of sweet friends that you could always count on. And now you were college ready, excited to move onto a new and exciting chapter of your life. In your eyes your life was absolutely perfect.

However, what wasn’t so lucky for you was that a group of some very rich and powerful people had also decided you and your life was perfect. Just for very, very different reasons.

You see, these people were the type that had too much leftover time and cash on their hands, and instead of wasting it on charities or social events they have instead banded together to form a new type of entertainment built for a more… depraved clientele. After all, what do billionaires love more than a way to make money? A way to make money while also destroying the lives of people beneath them. People just like you.

And so they created a show that for anonymity has no real name. The basis however is set around scouring the world to find the perfect target to wrap their grip around, making them an unwilling participant in a reality show so real and candid because for the most part it absolutely is as real as life could get. Then using their unfathomable amounts of money and power they get your life ready to be hijacked. Not in a way you might expect like kidnapping you away from it and changing your entire life that way. No, instead they left you right where you were, but would instead use every bit of technology and pull they had to morph it in cruel and sadistic ways. All for the amusement of thousands of sick and twisted viewers that will follow you around, allowing them to pay to have anything changed in your life or happen to you in general. And when I say anything, I do meant anything.

This is where my first idea for a prompt hits a bit of a crossroads. Having just come up with it very recently it’s all very fluid at the moment, with nothing really set in stone apart from the general idea outlined above. A powerful and mysterious corporation is going to turn your life into a sick and depraved reality show for their amusement and those of their thousands of paying fans.

What I haven’t decided on though is how exactly this will be applied onto you, and because I have to ideas I’m very keen on I’ve just decided to leave both as open options for you to choose from instead of limiting it all to the one idea.

The first idea is built around a blackmail angle. You find out about this organisations plan through a strange but elaborate text on your phone that is straight to the point. Do as they say or they will absolutely destroy your life with what they have on you and whatever they can piece together that’s fake but realistic looking enough to ruin everything about your life you hold dear regardless of whether you’re able to prove it’s real or not. And so in this version the life around you stays more so the same, but every day you are watched during every moment of your life and sent through your phone tasks that you must complete for the twisted people watching you. Some of your life will be manipulated but most of the fun comes from you being forced to do things that go completely against what you stand for and that risk everything you love so much.

Now the second idea is similar in that you’re watched every second of your life, but instead you have absolutely no idea that you’ve become the target of this show. Rather, this is a version in which everything is about manipulation, so much that the people around you will be messed with and changed just so that they can slowly break you on screen. Using their power to control the world and people around you in a way that you just can’t comprehend why it’s all happening, and with no way of understanding how you can escape from your perfect life becoming your nightmare.

Because I’ve got two different options here I’d obviously like to discuss things before we jump into any sort of RP. Let me know any questions about the story in general or the two options, and maybe if you have one let me know which one you might have a preference for. I had never known why you’d taken such a keen hatred towards me when we had first met. Sure, we weren’t exactly similar people, you being way more popular than me, while I was the usual introvert, keeping to myself and I guess in your eyes making myself a clear and easy target. You had almost made it your life’s goal to torment me and make my life miserable, or at least that’s what it felt like to me most of the time. Even now that we’re in college, I can’t seem to get away from you. Not only that, but you’ve started to get all of your friends to bully me too, truly making my life hell even when you’re not around.

Who are we to each other? Are you my step-sister/sister? My old high school bully? My college professor? Whoever you are, you’re about to regret your decision.

I’ve managed to come across something that provides me with a power that I’d never thought possible. It allows me to hypnotise you, mess with your mind and manipulate your thoughts, your ideas, your actions, everything about you. Of course with power like that I could just snap my fingers and turn you into a slut that loves to do nothing my slobber on my nutsack, but after everything you’ve done to me that fate would be too good and easy for you.

No, I want to slowly break you down and mess with your mind in a way that’s slow and evil, taking away who you are piece by piece so that you can feel your previous self slipping away, with no idea that it’s me doing it to you. I want the hypnosis to be subtle, without you knowing that I’m doing anything to you in the first place.

The thing that I find to hypnotise you could be a variety of things depending on how you’d want to do things. It could be a simple necklace that allows me to influence anyone I picture in my head. It could be a simple amulet that truly does place someone into a trance when you swing it in front of them. It could be a mysterious app I find one day on my phone.

If you’re comfortable with playing multiple characters too, I’d love to hypnotise your friends too, breaking them all for just following along with tormenting me.
