I slid the key card into the lock and the door opened slightly, the lock giving a little beep in acknowledgement.

I gave the door a little kick with my foot, before stepping inside the hotel apartment. I dropped my suitcase on the floor and took a look around. It was a large living room with a small tea kitchen. Nothing too fancy, but good enough to make simple meals. There was a small couch and a TV, as well as a dining table with four chairs. In the far end of the room were a set of sliding doors, leading out onto the balcony.

Off to one side was the bedroom, which also led to the bathroom, complete with a tub and everything.

"Come on..." I said, looking back at you over my shoulder, giggling. I ran to the sliding doors, opened them and stepped out onto the balcony. It was perfect. We had a perfect view of the beach below and we could take the back stairs down, and we'd be right on the beach.

I turned and looked at you. "So, what do you think?" I asked, smiling, biting down on my lower lip. Waiting for your approval.

I imagine us playing as either newlyweds or as a couple, away on a romantic holiday together. Beach, drinks, swimming, tanning. All the good stuff. Buildup, chemistry and flirtation is important, otherwise it can quickly turn boring, if it jumps straight into sex.

Full disclosure. I'm a guy, who likes to RP female roles. It adds another layer of challenge and fun to any given RP, which is all about make-believe after all, right?

"Damn it…"

I kicked the door of the abandoned car shut and looked further down the road. Lots of wrecked cars in sight, but not a single one, which seemed to hold any great promise. It was mid day already and the sun was coming down hard from above. Heat waves could be seen rising from the asphalt.

For as long as the eye could see, it was nothing but a ruined former interstate highway and abandoned vehicles. All vehicles had probably been looted clean years ago.

I reached behind myself and into the side netting of my backpack, taking out the bottle of water. I opened it and took a sip, before returning the almost empty bottle back into the side netting once more.

I knew I had to find something and soon. Water most importantly. But also food. Luckily, canned food could last almost a lifetime, and it was worth more than gold ever used to be. But most of it had already been eaten or bartered with. Finding an untouched stash was like finding a needle in a haystack.

And with my desperation came carelessness.

does anyone want to play a RP involving my character getting caught by slavers? Think a universe sort of like the Last of Us, Fallout or The Walking Dead, and you get the general premise I'm after. Don't just jump straight into the RP. Tell me a rough outline of where you see this going, and who you'll be playing as.

My character is Elise. She is a petite brunette, who has ended up in this apocalypse on her own, living from day to day. She doesn’t remember much from the world before, mostly as a survival mechanism, not to become overcome with grief. She’s petite, but fairly busty, something she’s always been very self-conscious about. Hence she tends to wear oversized sweaters and hoodies.
