Finally completed a comission I got 3 years ago! Hara's boob drop

Brief version: general lack of skill, self steem, and motivation resulted in the only incomplete comission of mine, which although terminated amicably, still nagged on the back of my mind for 3 summers. Finally I finished the other half of work across 2 days instead of the project's original half that was across 2 months, and I feel motivated to make more comissions and art again!
Deeper reflexion ensues:
I had stopped the comission for many reasons, one was time. Back then I was too perfectionist in linework, too much for anyone else to notice the difference, except they did notice the time. Two was skill. That detail work on single lines was simply because I didn't make good first lines, and stuck to it, refining them instead of trying again. I do it more often now, and without using atabilizers I have improved my natural line control too(i hope so). Or maybe I care less about the line perfection.
Three, the incentive. The work I had put into it and the price I had set for the comission were not equivalent to me, at least not now. That's why the client was satisfied and accepted me leaving the animation halfway done. That and how long it was taking me to progress I think, which meant the time-money conversion wasn't great.
But I wasn't in it just for the money, and it was a valuable lesson on persistance, commitment, and my limits on those two.
Every summer I would think about continuing the project, since no other of my few comissions had ended this way before. Only on this summer I found the time and seclusion needed to do it, right after witnessing the eclipse on a trip, wanting to prove myself I could return to the hobby(drawing, comissioning). Across two days, in a few hours and I had completed it. Line art finished, and then shading layers.
