I’ve been living with my housemate for about 6 months now. Up until now, just normal housemate kind of stuff, mostly kept to ourselves (we didn’t know each other before living together).

If you saw her in the street you’d think she was fairly normal, had a stable job, has a group of friends she goes to hang out with at a local pub, just living a normal life.

But, I’d started noticing a few things, whenever she was home her bedroom door was always shut and usually when she came out she’d go straight to the bathroom to have a shower (3-4 times a day if she was home for the day).

So, I’ve been starting to make a point to quietly walk past her room when she was there, and you could usually hear the sounds of her quietly moaning or the low buzz of her toys (clearly trying to be quiet because she knew I was home).

I’ve been trying to make subtle hints that I know what she is doing alone in her room, she often played it down, smirked and made something up. But since then, she’s been home a lot more, she is less conscious about covering up, will walk around in just her towel after a shower or just wearing more revealing outfits.

I think she knows, that I know, and also probably knows I’m doing the same in my bedroom. Maybe I should just come out and ask, who knows, we might be able to just enjoy edging the day away together, with no need to hide it anymore.
