Been a bit since I finished watching the anime for this wonderful yuri series (Claire is still my favourite bisexual queen <3 ) and it's definitely a trip going through the Manaria arc again. Especially with how antagonistic she acted towards Rae.
My question is this though... Did she really mean she was gonna force herself on Claire if Rae failed to win her over? I know Manaria is a lesbian like Rae (Or queer, as the manga states but she seems to very much prefer women so I'd say lesbian is the most definitive label) and that she reveals that Rae was always her target from the start, never having any real interest in Claire. In the anime, the story with Manaria and her maid definitely made it look more sinister with how she forced herself onto her to get what she wanted, but here, it implies it was mutual and the ONLY reason it didn't work out is because of the class status (She's a noble, and the maid was a lower class).
But back on topic, the whole 'If I win, I will break Claire and corrupt her when I make her my plaything' thing seems like she was never truly going to go through with it, but had to make it seem like she was serious to force Rae to up her game. But I'm not sure anymore.
