Sneaky donations
hey reddit, im kinda desperate and reaching out to see if anyone could donate $50 CAD? my schools carnival is in literally two days. I know its not a real emergency or anything but it just sucks. last year I skipped school because i was too embarrassed to let my friends know i couldn't afford to go and sadly I can't skip that day. I cant ask my parents because they are struggling so much with money right now and i know they’ll just feel super guilty and this would be the 2nd year in a row they had to say no to me and I hate making them feel bad. i’ve been trying to get a job for like a year now and finally got a summer one but it doesnt start till july.
I tried finding odd jobs like mowing lawns but my neighbor just cancelled on me today and it was my only free day to do it too bc my parents are off work, usually I have to watch my siblings every day after school. now I only have 1-2 days left and im completely out of options. if anyone could help it would mean so much
