You've got a friend who is fun to hang out with usually, and he plays all the same games that you do. He just has one obnoxious trait, and that's how much he peddles having an "Alpha male mindset". Can't drink fruity alcohol, you have to have "manly" beer. You can't compliment a woman or you're simping, you have to act tough and uncaring for them and then all the women will come flocking to you "trust".

It's hard to look past this obnoxious personality trait, and you wonder if he actually believes the shit he's peddling. However, one day when you're stopping by the store, you spot him in another aisle and go to say hi to him, which is when you notice he's dressed up in girl's clothes with his nails done and everything. Turns out that personality was just a cover up for his shameful secret.

Now that the secret is out, that mask goes crumbling away and he starts to worry you'll think less of him. Here's where you get to make a decision, do you belittle him for all that stuff he spewed before, or will you reassure him that you haven't lost any respect for him, if anything your respect has grown for him. Either way, your relationship will be changing quite a bit as you two grow closer, whether that's from pressure/blackmail or comfort and reassurance.
