The demihumans were loyal to a fault, like ants if necessary, they would climb over very each other just to massacre any thing deemed as an enemy in the sorcerer’s eyes. They genetically were programmed to obey him without any sortve concept of morality being involved. It was only until this reign of terror stopped after 2 years of pilgrimage. Thus, the now new race of sapient species were running amok with no purpose. Some communities were persecuted seeing as a large majority were of soldier class, but the ones who were simply workers were allowed to continue under the leadership of the villages. Others made their villages and were heavily isolationist, so much so that even adventurous would never see a demihuman village twice in their lifetimes. As time moved on however, displacement begun, with no real nation identity to converge over to many became tribalistic, deciding to have traditionalist views in their upbringing converting to a nomadic lifestyle.

Regardless it was clear that nowadays you’d always find them, whether as merchants, workers or really anything. So when you find one at your door begging to stay at your home it’s not like it could hurt. Afterall most they were docile compared to before. However, this one in particular seems to have a very high view of how he wants to live. What to do….
