I think we planted too many beans this year, but the hummingbirds love it!

Always a work in progress. Hubby built the trellis and laid every single block! The neat and tidy look is all him. It'll be chaotic later when the flower seeds that I sowed sprout 😈

This is an old catch-all / random / surprise perennial planter. I originally sowed a couple balloon flower seeds (that actually took 3 years to bloom 🙄) and marigolds and petunias that bloom beautifully every year. But there's also this...Maple? He dies back completely every winter here in PNW 8b but has been coming back for 3 years now. His stem regrows a bit taller every year. I may move him to his own pot to see what he does with more room. I really just want to know if I'm growing a random tree 😅 He was unexpected and uninvited but he's beautiful and hardy so he gets to stay, whatever he is.
