Giving a Pent Up Defeatslut What They Craved, The Few Details of How u/Resident-Concern-166 Was Put in Her Place by Yours Truly~

Just to preface, this was not a duel per se, but more a friendly encounter that I was given permission by said wonderful gal to post about. Not to say that the defeats were any less crushing however, just unofficial so to speak~
Our battle took place in the fighting game knows as Street Fighter 6. A game I’ve come to love since I’ve gotten, which was actually in part due to asking this resident cutie her thoughts on it after discovering her posts. Little did she know just what a mistake that was, but we’ll get into that very soon...
Jaime vs Mai
Our first fight had our detective utilizing her former main Mai. This fired up Kunoichi seemed so determined to make a fool of my drunken style, so it’s only natural I had to set the pace of what the rest of our fights would be like~ Over and over again, I set the stalwart detective flying back, blocking her pressure, and punishing every mistake. Admittedly, she put up a good fight, as expected of course. Yet, that didn’t prevent me from defeating her 3-0, guess those nerfs were too much for her~
Jaime vs Aki
Now for this matchup, I am forced to humbly admit I could not keep up. I could go on about not knowing the matchup or not facing many Aki’s in general, but excuses of course. While I was quick to take the first match, this poison mistress was soon to overwhelm me with her deadly kiss. Long pokes, slick escapes, and the occasional grab breaking through my faltering defenses...Mixing in a few devastating level 3 supers for a drink so potent, this Jaime had no choice but to admit defeat. Our famous duelist proving why her reputation precedes her and why she's held a streak of wins for oh so long. Let it not be said that besting one like her doesn't come with its challenges! However, this ends this portion of our battle, suffering my first...possibly last, defeat of the night. Leaving us at 1-3...but worry not, she learned her place soon enough after the next encounter~
Jaime vs Yasmine
Now was the time to face off against the detective's newest main, the spunky girl who led her to newer highs in ranked. It’s only right that I reminded her how little that mattered. Fight after fight, I sent her back to the corner, palm strikes and diving kicks, driving her to her knees~ She fought back of course, a valiant effort of…one round..before I finished her off. 3-0’ing our sweet detective…however she wasn’t done yet! A rematch was called, muscle memory finally kicking in and combos remembered, so again we battled!
She was fierce! Taking the first match with a brutal rebuttal, a round each before she came out on top! Then..defeat…after defeat..after defeat~ All her experience, her shiny new rank, couldn’t amount to the sheer difference between us. Only managing a measly two rounds and losing, overall, 6-1 (We were having fun x). Humbling this desperate detective on her newest main was a particularly tasty treat~
Jaime vs Cammy
I like Jaime if you couldn’t tell
The next pick was a personal favorite of mine (ahem, swimsuit) so I was very much looking forward to this matchup. Cammy is one of characters that used to give me, and sometimes very much still do, quite a bit of trouble. What with her quick specials, a command grab that I struggle to react to, and being quite distracting for the eyes~ I knew I would have to give a bit more effort than before.
But perhaps, I gave a bit too much~ It was a great effort, sending me on the backfoot many times in our engagements, yet it proved too little to stand up to me. Landslide, after landslide, I sent this resident defeatslut back to the ground, swimsuit barely withstanding my assault~ She was able to scrape one match against me before succumbing to her imminent loss of 3-1, so I guess she deserves some praise for that x
Afterword
Thus ends our exchange, the gauntlet ran its course, and our poor detective only managing one true win with a single character. The rest, as described, leading to a crushing defeat! All in all, we both had lots of fun, Ammy is always a blast to play against, in part due to how many characters she plays, affording me the opportunity to learn and counter them through her. I hope this serves as an inspiration that everyone, even someone as insurmountable as the detective herself, can be defeated with the proper will and mindset. Hope you all enjoyed reading and that our beloved defeatslut detective enjoyed being on the losing end for once in a long time~

This was my first time editing, well anything, so I really appreciated the help and enjoyed the little collaboration in making this.
