Some time ago I saw a post making fun of a segment of the early hippies how it was more related to a teenager phase than anything else since a big part of them went corporate and happily engage in exploitation of economy.

I wonder if anyone has first hand experiences of themselves or people you know that still went into corporate life after all the hippie phase. Was the seek for ultimate "spirituality" recognised as a fairytale, was it just a rebelous phase in life, is it a skill issue to differentiate ones social and individual masks or still there was meaning or fullfilment to be found in corporate (putting the greed and money aspect aside) ?
