Im not making this to attack anyones social skills in particular but to instead bring awareness to the issues of drama being started more frequently. Its come to my attention in my time gone from NNMQ that theres been multiple situations with lacking of communication used leading to conflict. I hope this can help bring the conversation of this to the front to emphasize its importance going forward.

Examples of lack of communication being used can be arguments dealing with opinions that aren’t fact on either side. This can be as simple as not liking the same food as another and arguing whats better. To simplify it can be seen as trivial and ignorant but when major conflicts end in people hurt thats when its necessary to dumb it down.

How to properly communicate between another over a disagreement. Both parties must take turns listening to another explain their side in order to understand each other’s different outlooks. If both parties cant find a agreement by the end its mature to agree to disagree or even avoid the topic going foward if it no longer brings value to speak about it.

Now for the tools we have to help us if we find ourselves becoming aggressive towards another during the disagreement. Remember this is the internet the block button isn’t a fix all for situations of this matter but if issues persist its more than ok to use. Nobody losses a argument blocking someone they cant get along with… they save eachother emotional and sometimes physical distress if the issue was severe enough.

Now for a important part of disagreements the outside voices. Both parties may have people “on their side” during this and even purposely keep the argument going. This is where I remind you that arguments between two people struggle to meet conclusions once introducing outside voices. These people can be used a echo chamber of sorts leading to people being less likely to change opinions or agree with the other during reasonable discussion.

Now many of you may be wondering if im making this post to push my own opinions on current or past dramas. To those people id like to assure you while I do have my own opinions i wont be highlighting them nor let them dictate anything involving this post. This post stands purely to help people understand as a community we have a responsibility to hold eachother accountable on infighting. We did not grow a community of people to fight eachother but to instead have fun.
