We just spent 5 days there and really loved it. It does have better parking and showered/toilets. We never rushed to get there for parking, except for Saturdays skinny dip. There was always parking available. Durribg the weekdays it was almost deserted until lunchtime and very serene. People there were super nice too. Water is definitely clearer and way calmer than Playalinda. However, seaweed is a little worse, bugs the same. We enjoy our long walks at Playalinda, but at BCB you cannot walk as far and the sand as the shoreline is harder to walk on as it kinda sucks your feet in. All in all we still think Playalinda is our favorite due to walks, more shells and a little more rugged, but BCB is absolutely worth a trip. I would say BCB is way better for first timers as it is easy to find an alone spot, just way less people and also the real toilets etc make that first experience a little easier.
The BIG bonus with BCB is that we stayed at a super cool AirBnB is Port St Lucie that specifically caters for nudists. 3 bed, private pool, pool table, lots of nude art and a “Play room”. I promised to give them a shout out, “Sunkissed Bottoms Nudist Retreat” on AirBnB. The hosts were awesome. It was a perfect stay.
Well that’s the end of a fantastic 5 beach days. Until next time.
We had our absolute best day at a nude beach. We have been to most all of them in the US. We hadn’t been to BCB for a couple of years, but just wow! Absolutely the most serene and tranquil day we have ever had on a beach.
See you there tomorrow. Yesterday was a great day and we topped off our tans back at the pool. My wife’s looking pretty good for 54 if I say so myself!
Keeping the tan topped up ready for a few days at BCB next weekend. It’s been a couple of years since we have been there. Regulars at Playalinda, but thought we needed a change.
We are pretty regular visitors to Playalinda and know the in/outs of it, but we have only been to BCB once a few years ago. We are going to be down in the Stuart area for a week mid July and was wondering the set-up and etiquette as we will be on the beach for most of that week.. We don’t mind being near people, but like a little space. We are not into the “lifestyle” particularly, just enjoy being nude around nude people on a nice beach. We walk a lot at Playalinda. Is it safe to leave stuff at BCB (normally have a fanny pack for keys, wallet etc with me)? How far can you walk shoreline? What is the layout? Playalinda for example is generally hetero couples/females south of the boardwalk entry and gay/male north. Any tips on parking, time to get there by on weekends and weekdays. Playalinda we are always at the gate before it opens (6am) so we can watch the sunrise. Appreciate any pointers to make our visit enjoyable.
8 hour drive but worth it. We head there about 6 times a year. This was memorial weekend.
Found this morning. ChatGPT says it is a Mastadon lower jaw bone.
First in line before the gate opens and being there for sunrise is so worth it. Love this place.
We didn’t get any bug bites today, but my wife removed a tick off of my back. So keep a check on yourselves.
The Sunrise was amazing this morning. What a perfect start to the weekend.
