PSA: As a plastic surgeon who has removed illegal permanent fillers from the buttocks and hips for years, it unfortunately makes sense that patients are now coming in with permanent filler injections in the penis and scrotum. However, I did not expect to see this many cases.
This is an example of what removal of illegal injections from the penile shaft and scrotum can involve. This patient underwent 7 sessions of permanent filler injections in Tijuana. When he began experiencing lumpiness, migration, and scar tissue, the injector reportedly advised him to add more filler. Instead of fixing the problem, the additional injections left him with a large, distorted mass of permanent filler and scar tissue.
Most devastatingly, this patient shared that 12 of his friends have passed away from complications related to these types of injections. This is not something to take lightly. Permanent filler injections can cause serious, life-threatening complications, deformity, chronic pain, migration, infection, tissue damage, and the need for major reconstructive surgery.
Please do not get permanent filler injections in the penis, scrotum, buttocks, hips, or any other part of the body. It is not worth the risk.
